Eglise Esprit & Vie (Spirit & Life Church) or “EEV” was founded in October 2012 following a call God placed in the hearts of two couples. Over the years, the Lord has grown this vision from a small home group to the vibrant church it is today. Every weekend, an average of 200 people gather in the rented premises in Montélier, and they are convinced that the time has now come for the community to acquire its own site.

After much searching and effort, they have found a 950m2 building perfect for present and future needs on the North-East area of Valence, in the town of Bourg-de-Péage. Ideally located just off the motorway, this space is primed to impact the region, allowing the church to accommodate current growth in Sunday gatherings and numerous weekday activities. In addition, this site is envisioned to be a place of welcome for special evenings, conferences, and events that will be able to receive people from all over France. A café, a coworking room, dedicated spaces for children, offices, and numerous activity rooms will be created and offered to encourage people to come to a warm place to encounter God and their neighbor.

The total project cost—including the purchase, renovation, and fees—is estimated at €1,000,000. With €70,000 already committed, the church is seeking to raise the remaining €930,000 as much as possible to minimize the need for a significant loan.
