In March 2022, Maciej & Iga Liziniewicz saw their city of Warsaw filled with refugees fleeing the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Maciej convinced the city of Warsaw to provide them with an old convention center, and they began to provide short-term housing for the refugees.

Before long, they housed and fed over 6000 Ukrainian women, children, and teenagers. Since Ukrainian students are not allowed in Polish schools, Life Church started a school for the refugees. The elementary school meets in the refugee center, and the high school meets at the Life church facilities.

Thanks to the unwavering support and generosity of the MVI family, Life Church has provided education opportunities and shared the love of Jesus Christ with Ukrainian refugees whom many have come to know as Saviour!
